About Me:
Hey y'all! I'm Zoe: a yoga teacher, preschool teacher, major foodie, and wannabe runner.  

Why This Blog?:
I need a place to put my thoughts and keep myself accountable.  I've been inspired to start living a much healthier lifestyle recently due to some health issues, so I'm hoping this blog can serve as a place for me to share my triumphs, mis-steps, life thoughts, and workouts/food recipes.  I'm learning that my body is my temple and I better start taking care of it.  I'm trying to get back into running after a series of injuries during and post college that sidelined my running habit for a while.  I love yoga; it is my sanity keeper.  I'm trying to truly get dedicated to a style of practice known as Ashtanga yoga.  I love food, but do not love cooking; I'm learning to embrace it.  Mainly though, I'm learning to love myself. I'm learning to accept my body where it is right now at this moment, and am trying to stop comparing it to others/what I think it should be/what it used to be.  It's a process, it's a process, it's a process.
